Kulfi and Barfi are our little twins, named after beloved Pakistani desserts — because sweetness, in every sense, defines them.

They were found abandoned inside a garage, tiny voices crying through the night for a mother who never returned. A kind stranger heard them and reached out to us. For days, we waited, hoping their mother would come back. She never did.

So, we stepped in.

We rescued them, nursed them back to health, and watched as frail kittens turned into spirited troublemakers. Today, Kulfi and Barfi are full of life — endlessly mischievous, wildly curious, and very clear about their boundaries, especially when it comes to their veterinary doctor (who, despite their protests, is one of the kindest humans we know).

They are living reminders that even abandonment can be rewritten into belonging and that sometimes, the sweetest things come wrapped in chaos, claws, and laughter.
