Al Azeem Foundation provides supporters with the opportunity to contribute toward animal rescue, treatment, care, rehabilitation, food, shelter, medical supplies, and other welfare-related needs through our website.

This Donation / Sponsorship Policy explains how sponsorship and support contributions made through our website are handled.

1. Nature of Sponsorship Contributions

Many items listed on our website represent specific animal welfare needs or categories of support.

Examples may include:

  • Animal first-aid care

  • Medical treatment

  • Rescue equipment

  • Food and nutrition

  • Shelter support

  • Transportation and rescue costs

  • Rehabilitation and ongoing care

  • Other animal welfare requirements

When you select and pay for one of these items, your payment is intended as a sponsorship or support contribution toward the relevant animal welfare need.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, these items are not physical products that will be shipped to the supporter.

2. Use of Contributions

Al Azeem Foundation uses sponsorship and support contributions to assist with its animal welfare activities.

Where a contribution is associated with a particular support item or welfare need, we aim to apply the funds toward that purpose.

However, animal rescue and care requirements can change quickly. If the specific need has already been fulfilled, is no longer available, or circumstances require a different priority, the Foundation may allocate the contribution toward another relevant animal welfare need.

This helps ensure that available funds can be used where they are most needed.

3. No Ownership of Sponsored Items

A supporter who sponsors an item does not acquire ownership of that item unless the relevant page explicitly states that the transaction is for a physical product intended for customer delivery.

For sponsorship items, the listed product or support item represents the type of care, supply, treatment, or assistance being supported.

4. Payment Processing

Online payments may be processed through Safepay or other payment service providers available through our Shopify store.

By completing a transaction, you may also be subject to the relevant payment provider's terms, security procedures, and privacy practices.

Al Azeem Foundation does not directly store complete credit or debit card information.

5. Order and Payment Confirmation

After completing a sponsorship or support transaction, you may receive an electronic order or payment confirmation.

This confirmation acknowledges receipt of your transaction and should not be interpreted as confirmation that a physical product will be shipped to you unless the relevant item was specifically identified as a physical product for customer delivery.

6. Allocation of Funds

Contributions may be used for animal welfare expenses including, but not limited to:

  • Veterinary services

  • Medicines and treatment

  • Emergency care

  • Animal food

  • Rescue and transportation

  • Medical and care supplies

  • Shelter expenses

  • Rehabilitation

  • Ongoing animal care

  • Related operational costs necessary to support animal welfare activities

Where reasonably necessary, contributions may be combined with other funds to meet larger or ongoing animal welfare requirements.

7. Refunds and Cancellations

Because sponsorship contributions may be allocated or used shortly after payment is received, they may not always be refundable.

If you believe a transaction was made by mistake, duplicated, unauthorized, or otherwise requires review, please contact us as soon as possible.

Refund and cancellation requests are handled according to our Refund / Cancellation Policy.

8. Transparency

Al Azeem Foundation aims to communicate the purpose of sponsorship opportunities and animal welfare initiatives clearly.

Descriptions, photographs, estimated costs, and support requirements may change as rescue cases and animal welfare needs develop.

Where practical, we may provide updates regarding our rescue, care, and welfare activities through our website or other official communication channels.

9. No Guarantee of a Specific Outcome

Animal rescue, treatment, and rehabilitation can involve circumstances beyond the Foundation's control.

A sponsorship contribution supports our animal welfare activities but does not guarantee a particular medical, rehabilitation, adoption, or rescue outcome.

The Foundation will use reasonable efforts to apply contributions responsibly toward its stated animal welfare purposes.

10. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions

We reserve the right to review, reject, cancel, or report transactions where fraudulent, suspicious, unauthorized, or unlawful activity is suspected.

If you believe your payment method has been used without authorization, please contact us and your bank or card issuer immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Donation / Sponsorship Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our programs, services, payment methods, operational practices, or applicable requirements.

Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
